Oh, Flip! Pinball Arcade Launch Party

Oh, Flip! Is a brand new pinball arcade opening in the centre of York. Situated within the amazing Up A Level gaming lounge, we will be offering a selection of pinball games, with titles ranging from the 1970s all the way up to modern day.

If you've never played pinball before, don't be intmimated! Oh, Flip! Is a freeplay arcade, meaning you don't have to put any money in the games to play - just hit the button and start the game! Normal admission is expected to be £10 for 2 hours of play, but, of course, for the launch party, you're all invited to join us for free.

Oh, Flip! Is being launched out of passion for the game of pinball, and we're so excited to share the game with all of you, and make it accessible for York locals and visitors alike.

The launch party will include a private film screening of the super fun 2022 film "Pinball: The Man Who Saved The Game". It's a really fun film, and should be a fun way to start the night. This is followed by a full night of pinball at the arcade!

Info: To kick things off, we've got a private screen at The City Screen Cinema. We'll have an exclusive film screening of the 2022 film "Pinball: The Man Who Saved The Game". The film follows the story of Roger Sharpe's efforts to overturn the ban of pinball in New York City. It's a great film, and should get us all excited to go play some pinball!

Info: After the film, join us at Oh, Flip! At Up A Level York. It's a 5 minute walk from the cinema. We will formally open the arcade, then have a long evening of having fun and playing pinball!
