About this Event
In May 2024, the Ontario Government announced that Ontario’s Chief Prevention Officer (CPO) was leading a review of the causes and associated factors of critical injuries and fatalities in the construction sector.
Recognizing the OGCA’s longstanding commitment to health and safety, the CPO invited the association and its members to address two critical questions:
- "How do you explain these risks?"
- "And how to you fix them?"
The 2025 OGCA Safety Summit brought together health and safety professionals from across the province to explore these questions. The insights, comments, and recommendations gathered during the discussions were incorporated into a comprehensive summary and recommendations report submitted to the CPO, which informed the development of the CPO’s next five-year plan.
Who Should Attend:
All OGCA contractor and APP members: C-suite; Health and Safety; supervisory; and on-site workers are all welcomed to participate and provide actionable feedback.
