About this Event
Join us at Etihad Museum for a panel discussion exploring the formative role of E11 in the early state-building efforts of His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Drawing on her newly supported research, Etihad Museum Research Grant recipient Annissa Maulina Gultom reflects on the President’s diplomatic journeys and how they navigated the absence of road infrastructure while laying the foundations for a national highway network.
She is joined by Alison Ruth Kelly (Senior Curator, Zayed National Museum) and Dr. Saif Albedwawi (Assistant Professor, University of Sharjah), who bring curatorial and historical perspectives on how mobility, infrastructure, and diplomacy shaped the early years of the Union.
