About this Event
OFFIE MAG SOCIAL CLUB: “INTERNET CAFE”
Multimedia exhibition hosted by Off Licence Magazine to launch their new issue.
Hosted by Brighton multimedia platform Offie Mag, The Offie Mag Social Club Pop-Up at the Lighthouse Project Space combines an exhibition, shop, bar and an ‘internet cafe’; a unique way to launch their new print magazine, ‘ISSUE FOURTEEN: THE INTERNET.’
The weekend-long pop-up will combine film photography and artefacts from Offie Mag’s latest magazine and the platform’s journey so far, showcasing how underground music, culture and Offie Mag itself have intertwined with the internet since its days as a humble blog.
The opening day (Saturday 30 Nov) will finish with an ‘Internet-themed’ pub quiz from 5.30 PM which is free to take part in but requires sign-up.
Book tickets for you and your quiz team! The maximum number of people on a team is five. You can book one ticket per team or book a single ticket for yourself, and we can pop you on a team. The winners will get year-long subscriptions to Off Licence Magazine and other goodies.
This event is programmed by Lighthouse's Future Creative Leaders (FCL).
