About this Event

Be one of the first to visit the Chicago Justice Gallery in-person! Belonging: Place, Power & (Im)Possibilities is an exhibition that features the photography of Chicago photographer and conceptual artist, Tonika Johnson. In a series of portraits and interviews, Johnson chronicles the ways in which young people have been made to feel they don’t belong in their own city and alternatively create sites of liberation. In addition to the artwork, the exhibition features a mural by Joe “Cujodah” Nelson and interactive activities.
