About the National Multicultural Mental Health Month 2024
National Multicultural Mental Health Month is an initiative by the Mental Health Foundation Australia (MHFA) to bring attention to the mental health challenges faced by individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. This month is dedicated to raising awareness, reducing stigma, and promoting inclusive mental health services that cater to all Australians, regardless of their cultural heritage.
This year’s theme, “Celebrating Diversity, Healing Together”, highlights the unifying power of shared experiences and cultural diversity in fostering mental health and wellbeing.
