Please join us at this free event — and meet our family-friendly community, tour the land, and take part in the fun!
We’re thrilled to mark the start of construction on the morning of Saturday, August 21, with activities including planting of a fruit tree by our Treehouse children, music, refreshments, speeches, and other festivities.
Treehouse Village is being built on the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq peoples. We are grateful to be building on this land, and we will live in peace and seek means of reconciliation.
Light refreshments will be served. Our groundbreaking celebration will be a zero-waste event — with healthy, locally sourced goodies. Please bring your own water bottle!
All public health guidelines and COVID-19 protocols for outdoor activities will be followed.
