On the evening hours of 11/17/17 Brian was on patrol as a full time officer for the New Kensington Police Department. At approximately 8:00 pm Brian attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle. After a short vehicle pursuit, the passenger fled from the vehicle, a foot pursuit ensued. The passenger opened fire on Brian after fleeing from the vehicle, fatally wounding him. Brian was known for his compassion, selflessness, integrity, and dedication. His smile would light up a room and his positive outlook on life would turn a bad day into a good one. This game is in support of Brian's foundation which is dedicated to carrying on Brian's legacy by making donations to continue helping the local communities, first responders, and those in need. As some may know, Steffan - Brian's older brother is an alumni of the Stars organization and will be in attendance with his family for this great event! Let's pack the RINK for this great cause!
