About the Unguided RetreatThe first Saturday in April is set aside to commemorate the founding of NKT–IKBU by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche in 1991.
On this one-day retreat, with minds of rejoicing and gratitude, we offer him our faith through using the special prayer ‘Request to the Holy Spiritual Guide Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso from his Faithful Disciples’ and collecting our Guru’s name mantra.
In this retreat we will be using the sadhana ‘The Hundreds of Deities of the Joyful Land According to Highest Yoga Tantra’ and the special request prayer mentioned above.
We will conclude the retreat with ‘Offering to the Spiritual Guide’ chanted prayers.
