OBMF veterans already know why this intimate, highly curated, multi-venue music discovery festival is so special. But this year, it’s about to be better than ever. Why?
1) CHEAPER TICKETS: Everything’s more expensive lately. We’re bucking that trend and actually loweringour ticket prices. In fact, we hit the ground with full-fest wristbands on sale for nearly half the cost of last year’s.
2) NEW LOCATION: We’re closing down E. 4th St and taking over the Reno Brewery District for an ultra-walkable experience between several of Reno’s most visionary venues — including The Jesse, The Depot, Black Rabbit Meads, Lead Dog Brewing, Abby’s Highway 40, and Dead Ringer — with even more to come.
3) MORE VARIETY: This year, we’re excited to feature more EDM, hip-hop, funk & cosmic country. Plus plenty of the indie, psychedelic, soulful, and otherwise rippin' rock ’n’ roll we’re known for. All from a tasty mix of OffBeat first-timers and returning festival faves alike.
4) BYE THURS, HI SUN: Not everyone can start their weekend on Thursday. And every year, bands and festival-goers rock into Sunday afternoon. Now it’s official. Instead of a Thursday opening night, get ready for daytime shows and other fun activities on Sunday.
