Rich Wilson has loved comedy ever since his neighbour gave him a cassette of Eddie Murphy’s ‘Delirious‘;
“It was the most mind blowing thing I’d ever heard. My young ears had never heard language like it.”
Since then Rich has become a regular at all the major comedy clubs as well as performing in New York, Las Vegas and entertaining the troops in the Middle East. Topics covered range from being a young father to life’s general absurdities A stylish delivery helps Rich tame the tougher weekend crowds with a commanding presence and precision timing but there’s plenty for the comedy connoisseur too.
“A very, very funny man” Frank Skinner “Tour-de-force.” Leicester Mercury “Highly entertaining” Time Out
One half of the hit Dead Men Talking podcast Freddy Quinne absolutely hates writing about himself in the third person but needed to fill out this part of his website because sometimes promoters will use these bios and copy and paste them into their own comedy events when he is on. Including us. We are going to add that he is half-Manx and a very safe pair of comedic hands.
‘King of underground comedy’ The Pulse ‘A natural comic’ Manchester Wire ‘Quality comedy’ Fringe Review
MC Alex Boardman cut his comedic teeth on the burgeoning Manchester scene with sets at the Frog & Bucket often followed by an all nighter at The Hacienda! Family life may have tempered the inner wild child but it’s certainly added to both the maturity and the relatability of his stand up. A gifted gag smith, Alex writes for a lot of big names and TV shows including John Bishop, A Question Of Sport and many we’re not allowed to say!
“A great comic” Sarah Millican “Double funny” Shaun Ryder
Your evening comes complete with Gill Gee. Off The Rails Comedy Club is programmed, promoted and produced by Comedy In A Van and held at The Royal George, Greenfield.
