Chef Edward Lee is a celebrity chef, author and restaurateur. His restaurants include 610 Magnolia, Nami and Succotash. He earned an Emmy nomination for his role on “The Mind of a Chef,” was a judge on “Top Chef” and wrote and hosted the documentary “Fermented.” He has also earned the Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Award in 2021 as well as the 2019 James Beard Award.Event details are available on the library calendar at https://loom.ly/PRrIwl0. This event is first come, first seated at the Shannon Staub Library. Doors open at 5 p.m., program starts at 6 p.m. Books will be available for sale, and author will be signing books after the program.
The Off the Page literary celebration, hosted by Sarasota County Libraries and Historical Resources, features bestselling authors, writing workshops, book signings, and more during the month of November. All Sarasota County Libraries and Historical Resources locations participate. Events are also held at partner locations like Ringling College of Art and Design, The Hermitage Artist Retreat and Venice Performing Arts Center.
