Performance poet and storyteller, Megan Chapman, will be running a creative workshop, aimed at young teens, to create and perform a spoken word piece.
This is a DROP-OFF event aimed at 13 - 15 year olds.
Megan Chapman AKA MCMC Spoken is a lyrical rhyming wizard. Her unique rhythmic style, and cutting content offers a mesmerising performance. Her poetic delivery is beautifully raw and captures humanity. She has headlined literature festivals. Performed in cities across the UK and internationally. At festivals including Glastonbury and Womad. She has also had her poetry published. She was featured in ‘A Space to Write’ published in 2015, a book exploring the writing spaces of Cornwall’s best-loved wordsmiths.
This space is on the ground floor. There is a ramp and there are wide but not heavy doors that can be opened by staff if necessary. There is an accessible toilet at the end of the corridor.
The bar will be open for drinks and cakes during the workshop and parents/carers are welcome to wait there.
