EMBRACE THE LIGHT! Off-Camera lighting can seem intimidating from the outside, but it's NOT! In this 2-hour class, we take you through some options that are EASY to add to your workflow but make a dramatic difference.
We'll look at adding one and two off-camera lights to your gear list, options on equipment, and then conduct a workshop with a model where you get to use YOUR camera to learn hands-on at Rockbrook.
If there's one thing that will set you apart from other photographers, it could be this. Come and learn how with this fun, hands-on workshop from the Rockbrook pros that will send you on your way using strobes, flash and other lighting equipment with confidence.
In this hands-on, workshop-style class, we will focus on two things:
1 - Growing your confidence using on-and off camera flash with the Godox System (or a wireless system you bring with you)
2 - You will go home with some images taken during the class, as we will have a model on-hand so you can gain confidence in your abilities and look at the images later to reinforce your learning.

- Take photos using the Godox flash system with E-TTL mode
- How to take photos using the Godox flash system in remote mode
- How to add multiple lights to your system
- How to bounce and mix lighting
About Your Instructor: Alan Holtmeier
Alan Holtmeier is a Camera Specialist at Rockbrook Camera and is in his 20th year of providing service and support to area photographers. Alan has photographed professionally as a wedding and portrait photographer and especially enjoys working with artificial lighting. When not working at the store or photographing, Alan enjoys playing golf and playing with his two Corgi's, Winston and Schmidt.
