An exhibition of works by Julian Micallef
‘The self and horse viewed each other from their own perspective. Through their own eye, for the first time. The light that day reflected off the water beaming the inner. Reflecting something not to be imperceptible alone or individual.’
‘Of the horse we know nothing, the self however, is beginning to comprehend.’
This exhibition is an installation of two linking projects completed during the final year of Julian Micallef’s BA Hons Fine Art degree, at Falmouth University.
Expanding experimental work in 8mm film, diagraming and metal installation. Welding a narrative of situational encounter – exploring the entities of ‘the self’ and ‘the horse’ on an existential journey in becoming, through the modes of projection.
