About this Event
Join Jac Keleher for an opportunity to dive deep into the embodiment of the practice of Yin Yoga and the 5 Elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
Through poetry, story-telling, embodiment and drawing upon the deep wisdom of the natural world, this workshop is an opportunity to meet ourselves within our human bodies, as a part of the natural world, to understand the inter-connected relationship of the wild and vast eco-systems of our inner and outer worlds.
This workshop is designed to educate you into the empowerment of your own self-healing, and is for anyone wanting to deepen their Yin practice and understanding of the body & ancient wisdom of TCM. The practice will move through the ‘Nourishing Cycle/Wu Xing’ of all five elements, designed to bring you home into a whole-bodied state of harmony and balance — through yin postures, meridian work, acupressure and meditation.
As we explore deeper the functioning of both our physical and energetic body and our understanding of the cycles of nature, we can harness our practice into being something that has an incredible capacity to heal ourselves into a state of wholeness.
The practice of Yin yearns for our courage to be soft and fluid in a world that has been hardened by effort and force — it’s a practice that guides us home to the forgotten places.
Everything is there for you, so you can just arrive as you are.
