While many people are familiar with the Presidential Caucuses (or Presidential Primaries), there are also Off Year Caucuses (even years) and Odd Year Caucuses (odd years)—each serving a different purpose.
What is the Odd Year Caucus?
The Odd Year Caucus is an organizational meeting where Democrats come together to plan for the upcoming elections and strengthen our local Democratic Party. At an odd year caucus meeting, we focus on organizing, setting priorities, and electing members to the Polk County Central Committee.
Why Should You Attend?
✔️ Help fill 28 open Central Committee seats in Ankeny (2+ needed for each of our Ankeny precincts)
✔️ Have a voice in shaping our party’s local platform strategy
✔️ Get involved ahead of the 2025 elections

Time: 6:30 PM before our regular March membership meeting
