Join the Pagoda Bourbon Society for a wickedly fun night of whiskey, food, and community at our next bottle share — Wednesday, October 29th at 6 PM at Beverly Hills Tavern.
Theme of the Month: Scary High-Proof Bottles
Bring your hottest pours: Barrel strength, full proof, hazmat-level heat (anything north of 115 proof), and prepare for a night of bold whiskey and good company.
New this month:
We’ll be gathering upstairs for added privacy, as the restaurant will be open downstairs for regular dining service.
Plus, Beverly Hills Tavern has rolled out its brand new fall/winter menu, so it’s the perfect excuse to enjoy some fresh seasonal favorites with your pours.
How It Works: This is a casual bottle share with whiskey enthusiasts. This isn't a competition to see who has the best bottles or to make anyone feel inferior to anyone else. Bring a bottle or bottles related to the theme of the month, this month being "high proof", and see what everyone else brings too. To keep things fair and enjoyable, please pour modest, respectful tastes—this ensures everyone can try several samples without depleting any single bottle and/or drinking too much..
We'll be meeting inside the old historic farmhouse/restaurant, not the outside bar/restaurant, so this event will be held rain or shine.
Food & Drinks: We’ll enjoy fantastic food from the Beverly Hills Tavern kitchen. Since the staff is graciously hosting us, we’d love for most, if not everyone, to order some food or appetizers for dinner. We’ll have a dedicated server(s), so please be patient as there will be a lot of orders coming in at once. Water will be available throughout the evening to refresh your palate and rinse your glass. If you grab an extra ticket for your wife, husband, friend, or partner who isn’t a big whiskey drinker, additional drinks, including non-alcoholic beverages, may be purchased from the bar!
After dinner, if the weather holds up, we’ll head outside for cigars under the crisp October sky.
