For October’s walk we will be heading to the Ōpāwaho River Track situated by the Ferrymead Heritage Park. The walk meanders alongside the estuary ending up by Tunnel Road before turning around and returning the same way. It is approximately 3km in total. The location of the start of the walk is off Ferrymead Park Drive by Ferrymead Golf.
For those after refreshments after the event we will head to the rather delicious CBK kitchen in Ferrymead. It is dog friendly outside and has a covered area.
We welcome all Greyhounds (from any agency), owners, trainers, honorary hounds, potential owners and those just need hound cuddles.
This is an "on-lead only” event for all dogs participating.
