Announcing our first volunteer morning of the Autumn – 10am - 1pm on Saturday 4th October. - Learn how to build a dead hedge
- Bash some bramble
- Spread some woodchip on our informal paths (good for kids)
- Pick some litter (good for kids)
- General woodland maintenance
...And meet some of your fellow community members
As ever please wear warm rough clothes. Wellington boots or other tough footwear is highly advisable. If you have gardening gloves and and tools such as loppers/shears do bring them along.
Children are very welcome, but have to be under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
We provide free refreshments midway through the morning, but do bring a water bottle. You’ll work up a thirst.
Meet by the railway bridge entrance. You will see our gazebo. Make yourself known to one of the team.
Join us for the whole morning or just an hour – whatever you can spare.
