The Extension Master Gardener volunteers of Lee County welcome community members to the inaugeral Therapeutic Horticulture Garden Craft Gathering. All are welcome, especially veterans, caregivers, and anyone who needs a low-key space to mentally rest and engage with plants and community.
General Outline of the Gathering
- Introduction of Therapeutic Horticulture and Introductions
- Garden Craft- Seasonally changes
- Share-Out and Clean-up- Talk about the outcomes of the activity and share experience, and then help EMG volunteers clean-up
