We are pleased to announce that Jerry and Jill Flewelling, our long-time members are gracious and generous enough to host another outdoor song circle at their home property in Fenton. LOCATION 807 S. OAK STREET, FENTON, MI 2:00 pm - 6:30 pm
This will be our last fairweather outdoor event for 2025. The Song Circle will meet in 10/5/25, The first SUNDAY OF THE MONTH. All members and their guests are invited. New attendees are welcome, and need not Bring any pot luck dish, as our regular members do. We gather for 4-5 hours and play music. Jerry’s usual set up is not quite a circle, but there is a sign up board and a stage (his porch) and there is a PA system, mics, music stands. Typically performers do one or two tunes and we just rotate around the SING/SIGN UP SHEET. Mid program we break for a friendly social potluck meal where the players are encouraged to bring a dish or finger-food to share. It is usually an entertaining affair with a lot of vocal/instrumental styles displayed over a variety of genres. We encourage your participation and are a welcoming audience for any performer regardless of the skill level. One can perform solo, or group, and instrumentals, poetry, dance or any performing art is welcome, though we focus mainly on music. ( For Nov. Dec.2025 and Jan, Feb, March and April 2026 we will resume meeting back at the church on VanSlyke in Flint)
