This series focuses on the unique moves of Beginner Solo Jazz with your teacher, Olya!Solo Jazz is a vibrant, rhythm-driven dance class that explores classic jazz steps like the Suzie Q, Charleston, and Shorty George. Expect a mix of warm-ups, technique, musicality drills, and short choreographies, all rooted in the swing and jazz traditions. No partner needed — just your energy, curiosity, and love for movement.
Your class fee includes free admission to our Practice Dance that starts at 8pm right after class! Let’s practice those new moves!
Class run from 6pm-7pm, every Tuesday in October
This is a series class. Please plan to come the whole month!
Please arrive 15 minutes early to ensure time for parking and shoe changing.
Please bring clean shoes that won’t track in grit or leave black heel marks.
Parking is limited; plan to park on nearby streets and walk to the North Star Hall at 20 Crowley Street.
