Plattsburgh Blues and Jazz has an amazing concert line-up in October. On Friday, October 3rd, the powerful Blackburn Brothers from Toronto are bringing their award-winning Soul, Funk, N Blues, and legacy of freedom, family, history, and groove that is irresistibly danceable.
On Thursday, October 9th, Two-time Blues Music Award-winning vocalist Annika Chambers (“Soul Blues Queen”), with Canadian guitar icon Paul DesLauriers and their stellar band, for a night that will take you from a whisper to a scream. This special evening doubles as their album release party, so get ready for brand-new music performed live in Plattsburgh! Opening act: the fierce and fiery Geminii Dragon, bringing on her bold vocals and blues-rock edge to start the night on fire.
On Friday, October 17th, back by popular demand, Dawn Tyler Watson—JUNO Award winner, International Blues Challenge champion, and Blues Blast Award winner—returns with her full band, the incredible Ben Racine Band. Watson’s powerhouse voice, charisma, and emotional range have made her one of Canada’s most electrifying performers. All of these shows are at Retro Live, where we turn Retro Live into a live music venue with two stories, a big stage, high-topped tables and chairs, a dance floor, and lots of room to move and see friends, old and new.
