This week is a pacing event so we are looking for volunteers who will also be running, so a win, win for some.
If you can help out we need:
1 timekeeper
1 tokens giver
2 scanners
5 or 6 marshalls
First timers briefing
Pre and post event set up/ take down.
Pacer vests taken;
21-Rowan Winks
22- Sam Lockett
35- Ann Marie Johnson
39- Emma Ludewig.
We have numbers available from 20-42 ( except the taken ones). We have a few participants that look forward to being paced for a faster time, both younger and older and this is a great opportunity for a lovely social and supportive gesture to help our parkrun community. There is no pressure to be 'dead on' with the pacing time and as one pacer volunteer said ' If the participants are keeping up with you for a time and they get a few seconds under, they are happy with being a little faster!'
