OCTOBER NOON-TEN CONCERTS AT ST. LUKE’SOur October Noon-Ten Concert series continues on October 8th with organist, Dustin Shelton.
Dustin Shelton is thrilled for the opportunity to perform at St. Luke's on their magnificent organ. Dustin currently is the Director of Music Ministries at Milford Hills United Methodist Church where he enjoys playing piano and organ and well as directing the chancel and handbell choirs. Dustin also accompanies for the Salisbury-Rowan Choral Society and the Singing Saints Choir based in Concord, NC.
Dustin received his bachelor's degree in sacred music from Catawba College in 2013. He received his master's degree in Church Music from Mercer University (Macon, GA) in 2016. During his time at Catawba, he had a brief internship at St. Luke's to fulfill a degree requirement. Ever since then, the people have St. Luke's have invited him to sing for Evensong and other special performances. Dustin would like to extend his gratitude to the people of St. Luke's and Stephen Williams in particular for always making him feel welcome and for providing these musical opportunities.
All are welcome! The concerts are free, with free-will offering opportunities.
