Our own Clark Niewendorp will be presenting in-person at our October meeting. Clark is a retired geologist who worked with the Oregon Department of Geology and Mineral Industries (DOGAMI) for almost 40 years. He will be sharing about the use of light detection and ranging (LiDAR) to discover fossiliferous regions and interesting geological formations.Everyone is welcome to join us! Membership is NOT required! Before the talk, we will have show-and-tell by members and guests. Please bring fossils for identification and discussion.
