She owns Breakout Editing and edits for publishers and indie authors, and she serves as a manuscript evaluator (gatekeeper) for a traditional publisher. Every year she has authors on the awards lists. Dori is also a board member of the NCWA, and when not editing, writing, and overusing exclamation points, she’s hiking the many scenic trails of central Oregon or riding her Harley Softail.
