About this Event

Summary

An introductory hour-long education session that offers an introduction to the realities and nuances of human trafficking in Alberta, participants will hear case studies of common trafficking stories through which they will learn about common risk factors, progressions, and typologies of human trafficking in Canada. Those in attendance are invited to interact by answering prompted questions to further their understanding.

Following the presentation, participants will know basic facts about human trafficking and be able to accurately recognize indicators and access expert resources when questioning whether to intervene.
