Join us for our monthly Life Science Venture Program education series! This month's event will be hosted at Revance's Johnson City office and broadcasted via Zoom. The session will provide an insider’s look at non-dilutive funding and other government resources with NIH representatives Stephanie Daivis, PhD (NHLBI), Swamy Tripurani, PhD (NCI), and Rajesh Kumar, PhD (NIA), joined by Jim Stefansic, PhD, a seasoned SBIR grant writing consultant. They’ll walk through the SBIR/STTRprogram additional institute-specific resources, including newer mechanisms and lesser-known opportunities and resources for early-stage startups. Expect practical guidance on aligning aims with institute priorities, strengthening commercialization plans, avoiding common pitfalls, and taking advantage of newer offerings, followed by a live Q&A.
This session will be available both in person and virtually. Please indicate on the Eventbrite ticket form how you plan to attend the event. For those attending virtually, we will send a Zoom link shortly before the event. Those attending in person should park in the lot at the back of the building. Also keep in mind that, while the company recently rebranded to Revance, the building has the Crown Laboratories name and logo, along with a Truist name and logo.
Immediatley after the education session, Life Science Tennessee will be hosting a Beer & Biotech in the same location at Revance's office. All are invited to stick around to attend for an evening of networking, learning, and community building. Enjoy a complimentary drink while connecting with entrepreneurs, life science companies, investors, researchers, and other industry professionals.
