This allows designing and drying time in between sessions resulting in a more professional finish. The course includes the following three sessions. You will do two sessions on the Sunday (10am-4.30pm) - Learning to form build a statue with expressive arms onto a stand; designing your sculpture and "dressing' it using fabric hardener. On the Monday morning we will embellish using colour pigment blending & dry-brushing techniques when your sculpture has dried.
While participants can create the standard model, there is an opportunity to add your own variations including choosing your own plaster bust from African, European or a Japanese style and potential for adding your own found objects, broken jewellery or family memorabilia.
Although this is a step up from the Standard Statue Class, beginners are still able to participate and they will definitely walk away with a fabulous sculpture to amaze friends & family.
