We have quite possibly our most phenomenally stunning venue of the year this next HH. It’ll be a blast of nostalgia to all of you hard core partiers who used to frequent this very same spot for clubbing and twerking (they literally had a twerking bar). Fellas, it’s time to bring out those suits and blazers again because we’re dressing up for the highest-end billiards ultra lounge in SF! And we’re throwing the grand opening party! We're heading back to the Mission, only a block away from Joey’s Arcade Bar just last month. Welcome to a luxury billiards lounge that you’ve only seen in movies. Welcome back to the old Arena with a head to toe renovation that will leave you astounded. Welcome to the Suits and Blazers grand opening party at The Hall!VENUE
Yes, this is the old Arena. Yes we're pretty much making you wear suits and blazers to Arena. But this is not the underage ABG clubbing you were used to. Having closed in 2023, Arena shut operations and reopened as Echo. Which barely made it through the year and struggled to be relevant in a time where clubbing just isn’t much of a thing anymore. Enter new owners with a vision serving up a premium cocktail and billiards experience that San Francisco has never seen before. Sure we have our share of billiards halls, scarred with cigarette burns, over-treaded carpets, grimey cue sticks, worn out jukeboxes, and musty decaying beer aromas. But it doesn’t have the minimalistic, artfully lit, crafted custom furniture experience of some of the new rooftop bars or Michelin star restaurants that this one has. No. This one is pretty freakin wild. And would definitely feel more at home in FiDi or Dogpatch. But here we come again, Mission District. With 4 billiards tables on the ground floor and 4 on the second floor, the loft layout is the same as Arena’s where you can look down and gaze at the activity below. There are a series of private bench and booth seating but the more notable touches are the crafted wall panels, built in fold-up seating, and custom task lighting found all around the craftily lit venue. Also note the kitchen build-out and decorative bar display. The Hall definitely has raised the stakes from its predecessor and turned this once dodgy club into an architectural masterpiece.
