About this Event
Join herbalist and witchcraft educator Kathryn Cahill-Draper for an evening of ritual and community circle for October’s Herb of the Month- Calendula! Calendula has a wide variety of herbal benefits, which will be detailed through the Materia Medica provided in class. We will dive into practices to support personal transition into the season of darkness and ways to incorporate connection to ancestors into daily life. Together we will explore the folkloric relationship between Calendula and the season of honoring what lies beyond the veil. All participants will receive a tea blend custom crafted for this event!
Kathryn Cahill-Draper is a professional Herbalist, Reproductive Health Doula, Reiki Master Teacher, and lifelong folkloric green witch. Educated in the Wise Woman Tradition by practitioners such as Robin Rose Bennet, 7Song La, Damiana Rose, and Jordan Stanton, Kathryn brings an eclectic perspective to the ways we can bridge the gap between the practical and the mystical aspects of herbalism.
