October Half Term Creative Writing Class (for children!)

✍️ Join us in Sante's stunning function room for a fun creative writing class at the end of October half term.

💡 This class is designed to help warm students creative talents up again, ready for a fresh start back.

✨ We'll be exploring everything from characterisation to world building in stories. Spelling and grammar won't be a focus of this workshop - it's much more about creativity and free flow writing.

📒 A notebook, stationary and everything that's needed for the class will be provided. However, if your child would like to bring anything along then they're very welcome to.

🤓 This class is primarily for students in Key Stage 2 (age 7 -11) but may suitable for children just outside of that bracket.

👩‍🏫 The class teacher is Jo - an experienced Literacy Specialist who has worked at local schools (including Didsbury High) and as a private tutor.

🤗 Due to Jo's background, she will use dyslexia friendly strategies as this makes the class more inclusive for everyone - but please do get in touch if you have any concerns or questions.

🏷️ She is, of course, DBS checked and you are also welcome to stay for the class if you would like to.

🥐 The class will be held in the upstairs function room and, if you'd like to stay, you're welcome to grab a coffee or some food at Sante downstairs.

🚃 As you may know, parking in Didsbury can be a challenge so we'd encourage walking or using public transport where possible.

👏 It's kinder on the planet and frees up space for those with no option but to drive.

🚌 There is a bus stop just outside the venue and Burton Road tram stop is just a 5 / 10 minute walk away.
