In the half term of October, we will see the launch of our brand-new family trail, 'Underground Adventures with Murray the Mole'. This collection of trails invites you to explore the museum, engage with objects and collect prizes. After you have completed all the trails, you will have created a beautiful work of art to take home with you and hang on your wall. Additionally, we have many other fun activities for you to enjoy.

What's on each day:
**Tuesday 29 October, 9-10am**

**Tuesday 29 October, 10am–2pm**
Underground Adventures with Murray the Mole.
Explore the fascinating world of microscopy and see things through a new perspective through the lens of a microscope with the incredibly engaging ‘Cell Detectives’ from Newcastle University. You can ask questions, learn new facts and have a go making some wearable fashion accessories using 3D printed mitochondria.
You can also make an upcycled hedgehog with staff from our Learning team.
Come along and meet Georgina and Albany Mouse for Mouse Tales, a drop-in interactive story time session aimed at under 5's and their families. Sessions run at 11-11.45am and 1-1.45pm.
**Wednesday 30 October, 10am-2pm**
