Grandparents Support Group meetings empower, enrich and support all members. In addition to offering a network of support, grandparents attending the group’s monthly meetings participate in facilitated discussions, learn the latest information about autism from guest speakers, receive advice and training, and socialize with each other.
SARRC’s October 2024 Grandparents Support Group will be held on Friday, October 11 from 10-11:30 a.m. Our speakers will be SARRC’s President & CEO Daniel Openden, Ph.D., BCBA-D, and a representative from VirTra. They will discuss our collaborative project to create training programs that help law enforcement officers better recognize and interact with individuals with autism.
