Wednesday October 16th- October Full Moon Herbal Tea Experience & Sound Bath Join us for an evening under the light of the October full moon (actual full moon is October 17th at 7:26 a.m.) filled with healing herbs and teas, a transformative sound bath and a little bit of magic. The October full moon is the Hunter’s Moon and also a supermoon. Advanced tickets are available on our website for holistically healing herbal tea and a tea leaf reading, as well as a full moon sound bath in the barn at Yorkie Acres Farm. You can arrive at the farm any time starting at 5:30 to meet the animals including our baby highland cow, shop for herbs and herbal products, blend your own custom herbal blend, sip healing herbal tea and participate in a tea leaf reading. The sound bath will start at 7pm, shortly after sunset

Join Alea of Herbal Earth Apothecary for herbal tea at the farm. After sipping, Alea will guide you through an herbal tea leaf reading with knowledge passed down from generations to help you ignite the spirit and uncover your destiny at the bottom of a tea cup. Join us any time before the sound bath at 7pm for tea and tea leaf readings.
7p-7:45pm: Sound Bath with Katrina -$25
Bring whatever you need to make yourself comfortable if you will be laying on
the floor (this is recommended)- yoga mats, blankets, pillows. There will be
some chairs available if you prefer to sit, or you can also bring your own chair.
Join Katrina Knotts for a relaxing 45 min sound bath in the barn at Yorkie Acres Farm. Katrina is a Reiki Master of 7 years who uses crystal singing bowls to aid clients in releasing stagnant energy from their auric field. Sound baths relax the body, calm the mind, and ignite inner awareness. During a sound bath, participants relax comfortably, usually lying on their back. For best results, they listen and stay present with the sounds and what they feel and experience. People get much more out of the sound bath if they remain present with the experience. For those who tend to fall asleep, with practice, it gets easier to stay present.
Experiences vary – sometimes people feel physical sensations, other times more emotions. Some listeners see colors, shapes, or images, which becomes like a waking dream. Sound baths can activate the higher mind, and many people receive creative insights or work out issues they couldn’t solve in their “normal” state. Generally, a deep state of relaxation of the body and mind is achieved, and most people look and feel brighter and more relaxed after a sound bath.
