Join us on the water before sunset at COOLIDGE PARK under the Market Street Bridge. We will launch from the kayak ramp and paddle upstream on the beautiful Tennessee River between McClellan Island and Hunter Bluff. At the north end of the island, we will stop and watch the moon rise in the eastern sky (over the Boathouse). When we round the island and paddle back, we will see the beautiful reflection of the lighted bridges while the water glows beneath our boards!NOT FOR FIRST TIME PADDLEBOARDERS! Beginners are welcome if they are comfortable paddling on the river. But I will not be able to give instruction or the attention needed for a first time paddler.
Be there 30 minutes before launch time! Board, gear, and lights are provided for those that register. Or bring your own paddleboard and rent the LED light kit. These light kits do not fit on kayaks. I will provide the clip on navigation lights for everyone who rents a light kit. These are required for everyone after dark! I will have a few extra navigation light sets for kayakers.
