The next Oriel Champagne Concert will be on Friday, 22nd October from 8.15pm in the Senior Library. The Concert will be given jointly by two groups who were due to give separate concerts in 2020, which were postponed because of the pandemic. They are John Irving (Piano) and Jane Booth (Clarinet) and the Echéa Quartet. They will play music by Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Bartok and a wonderful young composer, Louise Drewett. Tickets for the concert are priced at £25 and include a sparkling wine interlude. Orielenses are welcome to bring their guests, to share in what proves to be an excellent evening back in College!As usual there is an optional supper held prior to the concert in the Champneys Room from 7pm. Tickets for the supper are £30.
