Join Jennifer in this fun, technique-oriented class where you will make five cards using embossing folders, Lunar Paste, a fun-fold design, a shaped card, a stencil made from a die, and ink bleaching. Build up your card stash with a variety of occasions including birthday, holiday, friendship, generic, and gift card holders.In addition to a basic class kit, please bring:
Brown, dark red, and dark green with coordinating blending tools (brushes or sponges). This is for shading the cocoa mug and poinsettia die cuts, so this is optional if you don’t want to do it.
Dark blue ink with coordinating blending tools (brushes or sponges). Jennifer used Distress Chipped Sapphire but any dark blue ink will work. This is for shading the pocket, so this is optional if you don’t want to do it.
2-3 colors of green, water-reactive inks with coordinating blending tools (brushes or sponges) – we will be coloring a whole front panel so something that will easily cover a larger surface area will work better than small finger-tip sponges or brushes. Jennifer used Distress Oxide Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, and Lucky Clover.
One color of ink with coordinating blending tool (brush or sponge) that will show up on kraft-colored card stock. Jennifer used Distress Oxide in Salvaged Patina.
White ink.
Liquid adhesive
Craft mat or scratch paper to work on
Things you may find helpful: tweezers, pickup tool (embellishment tool/wand), baby wipe/paper towel/rag
