Rosyth Pupils, Mark the Dates!Due to the typically changeable weather in October the EATS Educates Team decided to organise this year`s traditional October Break Events at the Centenary Orchard. Although these won`t be held at school grounds this time, at the orchard finding a shelter is easier and we can finish all the activities either indoor or outdoor regardless of the weather.
The October Break Events are themed and they are all about the transition from Summer to Autumn.
The second week - on the 23rd of October we will have a Pumpkin theme. Some of our activities will be:
Talking about pumpkins and their uses
What is the difference between Squashes, Pumpkins, Courgettes, Marrows?
Cooking pumpkin themed soup
Roasting Pumpkins
Crafting with pumpkins
And many more...
The sessions will run from 10:30 a.m. till 12 p.m. after which we will provide some light lunch to the participants to close the busy morning. Both sessions are free, and every Rosyth Primary School pupil and their family is welcome.
