About the Keynote Speaker: With a diverse background in human resources, engineering operations, and operational excellence, Amber is a dynamic leader who excels in leading strategic initiatives and fostering a positive workplace culture. She is adept at identifying the root causes of issues and implementing effective solutions, always prioritizing people and proactive change management to drive organizational excellence.
Amber is privileged to serve as the Human Resources Director for the City of Rapid City. She has a bachelor’s degree in business management and human resources management, as well as a master’s degree in business administration, all from Black Hills State University. She holds the SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) and SHRM-SCP (Society for Human Resources Management Senior Certified Professional) certifications. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, camping, traveling and reading.
