Our Beginner Pottery class is perfect for people ages 16 and up who want to learn to play in the mud (no exceptions will be made for younger students). This class is specifically geared towards people with little to no experience with clay.
Beginner Pottery is an introductory skill class that will teach you all the skills, tips and tricks you need to successfully create with clay. Our instructor, will provide you with the individualized attention you need to create your first pieces.
This purchase is for 4 class sessions. You will be able to pick which session you would like to attend each week using our booking site. We have sessions available on the schedule in both wheel throwing and hand building. Additional class sessions can be added if you want to attend multiple sessions a week.

The class costs $150 and includes all tools, glaze and firings (25 pieces fired to completion, additional pieces will cost approximately $1/firing). The class does not come with clay. Clay can be purchased with the class by selecting this option below or from Art Zone in Nixa. If you already have clay, please be sure it is Cone ^6.
In addition to class time you will have access to the studio for Open Studio time. At the start of your sessions you will be given a code that will give you 24/7 access.
