Please join us at the New Haven Lawn Club on October 8, 2024 at 12PM for lunch and a talk by Forst Family Professor of Political Science and Chair of the Political Science Department at Yale University Gregorty Huber for his talk "May you live in interesting times? What's going on in the 2024 presidential election".
A three-course plated luncheon will be served. Free parking is available at the New Haven Lawn Club, which is handicap and ADA Accessible, and on the Yale Shuttle and CT Transit bus lines.
Gregory Huber is the Forst Family Professor of Political Science and Chair of the Political Science Department at Yale University, where he has been on the faculty since 2000. He holds a PhD in Politics from Princeton University and a bachelor’s degree from Emory University. He is the author of over 90 articles in leading journals of Political Science and related fields as well as The Craft of Bureaucratic Neutrality (Cambridge University Press, 2007). A former Research Fellow at the Brookings Institution, he is the Director of Yale’s Center for the Study of American Politics. He was awarded Yale's Graduate School Mentorship Award for his service as Director of Graduate Studies in Political Science. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. His recent teaching includes Introduction to United States Government, American Political Economy, Crime and Punishment, American Political Behavior, and American Political Institutions.
