Join us at Raleigh’s undisputed best area to fly and enjoy the moderate temperatures! This is also a great time to start preparing for our following month's Halloween meetup - think about how you can decorate for Halloween and challenge Steve on scariest drone!
Come to participate or just to spectate - pilots of all experience and flying model type are welcome! FPV, camera drone, heli, RC airplane - we do it all! Our meeting spot is along the long side of the Dorothea Dix "Big Field", adjacent to Barbour Dr. (**use GPS directions to 812 Barbour Dr, Raleigh, NC 27603**).
In addition to your drone, controller and charged batteries, consider bringing a launchpad, chair and/or folding table, and be prepared to chat with some friendly folks. We'll see you there!
