Oxfordshire Music Scene magazine proudly present a special double album launch night with some of the best local electronic artists performing live on the same bill.The new Mancbeth Remixed album release features 17 different remixes by 15 different artists. A selection of these musicians will be performing their own material and their remix track. These include Zarbi (electronic shoegaze prodigy), Cholly (female sole synth pop genius) and Moogieman (psychedelic geek new wave modular synth action).
Headlining the evening will be the Mancbeth supergroup who will be performing songs from the original album. The group features vocals by Octavia Freud, synths by Tiger Mendoza, guitar by Dan Clear and bass by Baby Maker. The Mancbeth album, written by Octavia Freud is based on a script by David Lemberg. It sets Shakespeare's tragedy in the famous acid house clubbing scene of Manchester in the late 80's, loosely based on events in the Hacienda nightclub as drug dealing gangster Macbeth attempts to become the king of the city.
The evening will be completed by an exclusive live preview of songs from Octavia Freud's new album, 'RLTNSHPS'. The album explores the different relationships we have with our friends, family, social media, big tech oligarchs and our broken political leaders. Both the Mancbeth Remixed album and Octavia Freud's 'RLTNSHPS' album will be available for sale. There will be a complimentary FREE Mancbeth postcard with a download code of the original album for every person who has purchased a ticket for the evening events.
