Marrakesh is an absolute must-see location, and this is exactly where our South Morocco trip is based! We’ll soak up the exciting sights in the city’s Medina, experience the lively happenings in the Jemma el-Fnaa Square, tour some incredible local shops and so much more!
Apart from Marrakesh we will be discovering some impressive sites like the Atlas Mountains, the ancient mud city of Aït Ben Haddou and the Todra Canyon! But the main event of this entire road trip is our once in a lifetime visit to the Sahara Desert, where we will ride camels through the dunes and stay at a Berber style campsite to soak in the beautiful desert culture.
🔷 Important Things to Keep in Mind
You will need to fly in to Marrakesh.
Plan to arrive to Marrakesh on Wednesday, October 8th* (We recommend the Ryanair flights FR6791 and FR6721 respectively landing in Marrakesh at 18:50 and 23:55)
You have several options for the flight back:
1. Plan to leave Marrakesh the night from Sunday to Monday, October 13th (We recommend the Air Europa UX1424 flight leaving at 1:55AM)
2. Plan to leave Essaouira on Sunday, October 12th** (We recommend the Ryanair flight FR6115 leaving Essaouira at 20:00)
3. Any flight that suits you leaving Marrakesh on Sunday, September 14th in the afternoon or evening.

*There is a flight arriving to Marrakesh earlier on Wednesday that you are welcome to book, however please keep in mind that our trip coordinator will arrive on the later flight and there won’t be any activity arranged before. If you choose the earlier flight we will still provide an airport pick up at no extra cost.
**Flights are usually cheaper if you decide to fly out from Essaouira. You’ll need to book the “Essaouira Transfer” add-on below so we can organize your transfer there. You are also welcome to book any flight leaving from Marrakesh on Sunday afternoon but keep in mind those flights are usually way more expensive than our recommended flights.
IMPORTANT: Please be aware that it is NOT possible to fly out on Saturday night because we will not be back from the desert before 21:00.
