This is a hands on experience to come out and see how Angel baby gowns are made and lend a helping hand. Invite your friends.We are going to get together to make Angel Baby Gowns and get to know each other. And knit/crochet blankets and hats.
The time will be 1-4. In the Lyke meeting room
Feel free to stop by and help with the process of making Angel Gowns.
We can use help with cutting gowns, ironing. Tracing and cutting patterns, you could hand sew pearls for decoration. Etc
Come learn to sew or bring your knitting needles and make blankets while we get to know each other.
If you have completed blankets you could drop them off.
To these events it will be helpful if someone could bring:
A sewing machine
Iron /ironing board
Scissors
White thread
Pins
White or pastel cotton fabric (for lining)
A power strip
I will bring what I have. I have a serger and sewing machine
I have some thread and all the notions.
I will bring patterns and cardstock so we can make more. That way you can keep a set if you would like.
I will get the gowns and be messaging people from the waiting list to bring gowns to the event
I just want to be sure we have enough supplies and we are not all sharing one pair of scissors 🤣
