Please join Oconee Winds for our fall concert entitled "Afterlife"The opening concert of our 24-25 concert season will feature "Afterlife" by Rossano Galante and the incredibly moving Symphony No. 1 "The Divine Comedy" by Robert W. Smith. This symphony is a musical retelling of Divina Commedia, or Divine Comedy, an Italian narrative poem written by Dante Alighieri. Dante composed the poem between 1308 and 1320. The poem narrates Dante's fictional travel through three realms—Inferno, Purgatorio, and his ascension to Paradise, where he is permitted to gaze upon the face of God. In addition to these incredibly moving pieces, you can expect some fun surprises! This concert is not to be missed!
