Please join us Saturday, July 13th from 6-9 p.m. at the Ocala Downtown Market for our 1st Annual Ochella Event - a celebration of music, art, food and community. This lively event has been established to raise funds for the talented Lake Weir High School Band, allowing the band program to continue fostering passionate young musicians. The heart of Ochella is MUSIC! Throughout the evening, the Downtown Market Main Stage will feature gifted student performers alongside local musicians. Ochella-goers can shop local vendors while taking in a diverse mix of music genres from jazz to pop to funk. Yet Ochella will offer much more than music. Local artisans will display their works of art, giving attendees a taste of our towns vibrant creative culture. Tantalizing smells will draw everyone to the bustling food trucks and food vendors. Under the sun or stars, Ochella will provide an uplifting experience - celebrating community, supporting arts education and showcasing talented youth. The magic of live performance and camaraderie will create memories to last until next year's Ochella event.
